  Ila Rujula is a facilitator and weaver. Their work supports the remembrance that we are ‘nature’ through workshops, project facilitation and co-created curricula.

  They have worked on various projects including, ‘Lifelines’, a spiritual ecology project connecting communities to the land through planting hedgerows and trees and with States of Mind, co-creating curricula that support young people to understand distress and suffering through social and spiritual frameworks. They worked as the ‘Ecosystem Weaver and Gardener’ at YouthxYouth, facilitating programs that support young people around the world to work towards our collective liberation. Currently they work freelance supporting the facilitation of ‘nature connection’ workshops and retreats while studying World Philosophies at SOAS.

  Their work is founded in a longing for liberated ways of being, a belief that this is possible together and a desire to support humans to relate better to our more-than-human kin. They are a keen veg grower and are exploring kincentric ways of growing food and being with the land.
